All young nature explorers, there is still time to register for week-long Nature Camps at Steele Creek Park this summer. Camps are open for ages 7-12 and cover various science topics. Families, scouts, friends, church groups, neighbors, APE’s (Appalachian Paddle Enthusiasts), and Hitman Photography coming together to clean up our beautiful green space and lake today at Steele Creek Park. Thank you to all who planned, donated, and volunteered to clean-up after others during our Annual Trash Bash Day and helped to eradicate the highly invasive garlic mustard plant.
📌Reminder Tomorrow from 9AM-Noon is the annual park cleanup at Steele Creek Park. We hope you will join us for Trash Bash 2026 to help keep Bristol’s largest community park clean and beautiful! 🟢Trash bags, disposal gloves, and other materials needed for the event will be provided. 🟢Light snacks and volunteer gifts will also be available while supplies last. 🟢 Follow our page for any updates to the event. The event will be held 🌧️rain or ☀️shine, unless thunder/lightning is detected in the area.
