As an all-volunteer, community organization, we depend upon our members to help us support the Nature Center’s mission: “The Nature Center at Steele Creek Park researches and conserves the natural and cultural history of Steele Creek Park and the Southern Appalachians, and educates the public on those efforts through exhibits and outreach”.

Friends of Steele Creek Nature Center and Park is a 501(c)(3) organization. All membership dues and donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
