Earth Day 2011 Steele Creek Lake and Park Cleanup
Celebrate Earth Day 2011 by coming to Steele Creek Park and helping us make a difference. Saturday morning, April 30th, Friends will be sponsoring and coordinating a lake cleanup effort at the park. As one of Keep Bristol Beautiful’s 2011 Great American Cleanup events, this will be your opportunity to make a difference in enhancing the beauty of our park.
Come to the Nature Center any time between 9 am and noon to pick up bags, gloves and instructions. We’ll be covering as much of the lake shoreline as possible, as well as many of the trails and general recreation areas, cleaning up trash and debris that has collected over the winter months.
