Friends of Steele Creek Nature Center and Park

On Friday night, August 27^th at 8 pm, Steele Creek Park naturalist Larry McDaniel will present a slide show on moths followed by a “moth sheet” demonstration.  The slide show will be on the diversity of moths of the region.  It is truly amazing how many different species we have in our area, and how intricate and beautiful many of them are.   The setup that Larry uses to attract moths at his home will be in place so everyone will be able to observe some actual moths, up close and personal!  This promises to be a fascinating program.  Meet at the Conference Room at the Park Lodge Building.
