Wildlife Weekend Schedule of Events – October 9 – 10
Wildlife Weekend is less than two weeks away. It promises to be another fun-filled and educational event, with “Capturing Nature With Your Camera” as this year’s focus (pun intended!). There will be plenty of activities for nature lovers of all ages, including nature crafts for kids, a bird banding demonstration, a special scavenger hunt, several walks with naturalist guides and experienced photographers giving tips on photographing nature, exhibits by regional experts, and our annual photography show.
The fun begins on Friday evening with announcement of the photography contest winners, followed by our keynote presentation by award winning nature photographer Chris Duncan.
