Wildflowers and butterflies with Don Holt

It was a beautiful spring day today… perfect weather for an easy and informative walk with park naturalist Don Holt. For those who don’t know Don, he’s a walking encyclopedia of east Tennessee natural history. After a short ramble through the Nature Center wildflower garden area, we had a great couple of hours seeking out the early spring wildflowers and butterflies of Hemlock Hollow.
