Friday, October 14th

 The evening begins at 6:30 pm in the Lodge

Art & Photography Show Reception

Awards Ceremony at 7:00 pm

 

 An evening program with Larry McDaniel immediately following the Awards Ceremony, at the Steele Creek Amphitheater

Saturday, October 15th

Activities beginning at 8:00 am

Bird Banding

Nature Hikes

 Wildflower & Mushroom Walks

 Seminars

 

Special Keynote Address at 12:00 noon on Saturday by the USDA’s Garry Kauffman

 

 “Non-native Nature”

Build a Birdhouse

Fossil Casting

Animal Tracks

 

All activities are free.

 

Check-in for all activities at the Steel Creek Lodge

Refreshments will be available Friday & Saturday. 

If you plan on attending Saturday’s events, there will be a lunch break at noon. Bring your own lunch and enjoy the beauty of Steele Creek Park.
